Snacks and Drinks
Children can bring a snack and lunch. Everyone should have their own water bottle, which can be refilled using the outside taps. NO NUTS please.

Booking & Paying by Card
We are using the LTA 'Clubspark' system for booking and taking Credit & Debit Card payments.

The 'Book' button will take you to the Clubspark website where you will be asked to create an account, unless you already have one.

Once your account has been created you will never be required to re-enter your information when using this booking system.

Please Note
When creating your Clubspark account use your own name and then add your child as a player.

Avenue Member Discount
A 9% discount is available for Avenue Tennis Club members and this will be deducted from the full amount at the booking stage.

Single Days
Single days can be booked but a minimum of 3.

What will my child be doing?
Children learn and practice a different shot for each of the first four days. Each day includes FUNdamentals, technical, tactical and physical development, as well as team games and match play.

On the final day, all children will compete in a tournament and everyone is a winner, because everyone goes home with a ‘camp gift’.

How many children will be in a group?
The groups will be smaller this year and there will be a maximum ratio of coaches to children of 1:6 (often better!) Although children will be in their small groups for some activities, groups may merge for certain games.

Does my child need to have played tennis before?
The camp is open to players of all levels including complete beginners. Groups will be split according to ability as well as age and so every child should feel comfortable in their group.

Will my child only play tennis?
The camp is a tennis camp rather than a multi sports course, although there may be opportunities to play other games. 

What does my child need to wear?
Loose, comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Because the club has brand new court surfaces, all players must wear flat soled tennis shoes.

What does my child need to bring?
A snack, plenty of water, cap and sun cream if appropriate. Rackets can be provided although many children bring their own. Please do not send your children with food that contains nuts or nut traces.

Who are the coaches?
All my coaches are LTA qualified coaches. All hold a recent Criminal Records check and all hold first aid certificates.

To book click on the relevant button above, you will be taken to the Clubspark website to complete your booking.

Payment by Childcare Vouchers
Sally accepts Childcare Vouchers, so please let her know which Childcare Voucher provider your employer uses.

This is what you need to do:

1. Book the camp via this website using a card.

2. Then using your Child Care Vouchers, pay the same amount again plus £5 admin fee.

3. Send the confirmation that the vouchers have been paid to Sally with the addition £5 and she will refund your first payment via the website. (You only need to do this the first time that you register with Sally at The Avenue Tennis Club, after that if you want to use vouchers, you can just tell Sally the time/day/week/course that you require and she will register your child manually and then all you do is pay with the vouchers.  You must however always send the confirmation of the voucher payment) 

4. The sooner you use the vouchers, the sooner the refund is made.

Guest Fees
If the player is not a member of The Avenue Tennis Club there is a small quest fee for all camps held at The Avenue, this is included in the price of the camp for non-members.

Day Bookings
There will be no day bookings this year due to Covid restrictions.

Bad Behaviour
Bad behaviour will not be tolerated and children will be asked to leave a course with no refund, if behaviour does not improve following a warning.

Cancellation Policy
Because we endeavour to maintain low coach/player ratios for camps, we always book all our coaches in advance, therefore you need to inform us at least 3 weeks before the first day of a camp, if your child can no longer attend.

Camps cancelled 1 week before the camp starts will be subject to a 75% cancellation fee.

Camps cancelled 2 weeks before the camp starts will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

Camps cancelled 3 weeks before the camp starts will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee.

Camps cancelled during a camp will receive no refund.

Bad Weather
In the event of bad weather, the camp will take shelter but not in the club pavilion this year due to Covid restrictions.

PLEASE NOTE
Refunds will not be given if a day is missed due to your decision not to attend, including illness. Also please do not ask if your child can do a 'make up' session due to a missed session. This cannot be done as we keep all sessions within the LTA player/coach ratio guidelines. You would not be happy if two extra people kept turning up for one of your child's sessions thus upping the ratio.
