ABOUT US

The Avenue Lawn Tennis Club is a small, friendly, long-established tennis club right in the heart of Finchley Central. In 1996 our three courts were resurfaced, allowing members to enjoy all year round tennis on good quality courts. During the summer the club holds social functions, as well as friendly matches with other tennis clubs.

We welcome new members of all ages and standards – whether you are a beginner, an improver or a more experienced player, we can offer you the opportunity to enjoy your tennis and improve your game. The club offers junior and beginner membership, with weekly group coaching sessions run by our qualified coach.  Individual coaching is also available for all standards, on a pay as you go basis.

Open Days are held on the first Sunday of every month throughout the playing season.  These provide an opportunity for people who are interested in joining to come along and play with existing members, and gain a feel for the club.  Playing-in/introductory sessions for prospective members can also be arranged at other times.  Please telephone Lionel on 020-8368-0314, Luke on 0208-346-3632  for more information.
